As Promised.........

Pictures of Layla walking, and walking, and walking! I can't believe that she began walking on her own on the exact day that she turned 10 months. She is everywhere now!

Today Layla has turned 10 months old. Over the past couple of months Layla has been holding on to things and walking, or taking a few steps here and there. Today, without thinking, she is walking from one side of the room to the other. We are so excited. As soon as I can capture it in photo, or on video I will upload it. Yay!

Mother's Day 2009

What happens at Grandma's House, stays at grandma's house!!!!!

On mother's day we went to grandma and grandpa's house. Layla was crawling everywhere like always. I saw Layla out of the corner of my eye standing on the ledge of the walker inching her way around. In a panic I immediately asked Johnny to get her because I didn't want her to fall down. My mother-in-law calmly says, "oh, she does that all of the time and has never fallen." Johnny and I couldn't believe it. We chuckled and said, "no telling what Layla does around here when we aren't here."
